![]() While we can manually overwrite 0C with 1C to enable invulnerability, this can’t be done continuously. Unfortunately, the cheat engine doesn’t have the ability to set just one bit in the byte, nor does it provide for hexadecimal addition. ![]() 0C for P1 becomes 1C and the remaining players value of 04 becomes 14. At the conclusion of battle, character invulnerability is enabled by adding 10 hex (binary 10000, 5th bit set “high”) and the character flashes for about three seconds. To illustrate this I’ll use Player 1 address 011B08D1 which normally has a value of 0C (binary 1100). The first two bytes of each range are a character attribute (status) bit field. I’ve listed each character by memory range and position, with the 5th spot reserved for Elena’s secondary incarnation of Millenia. My cheats primarily focus on the memory that tracks character status such as movement. If you’ve some experience with emulator cheats then this is pedantic. ![]() Some patches are disabled (patch=0) and this is irrespective of the “Enable Cheats” option. Patch=,EE,extended,Īll the codes noted are GameShark and thus “extended” because they aren’t based on the native, internal, cheat engine.
